Leadership models have a much more profound, meaningful, and significant impact on the organisation; by extension, leaders have an important role in developing one's self, and that of the people they work with and for. This in turn, helps the organisation grow, evolve, and constantly become a better version of itself.
The Leadership Model utilised by MTG has evolved from ideologies developed from 24 years in the Australian Army and customer service interactions over 11 years with Bunnings as a business leader in commercial sales. Small stints along the way with the AFL and Local Government have also assisted this model to evolve to what it is now.
Essentially, the core elements - culture and strategy, were decided upon by the MTG Team. The question of where are we now? And where do we want to be? Was posed to the Team. What values and strategy did we need to exhibit, as a team and individually, to move from “now” to “want to be”. The team decided on the values above that would develop our culture to drive us to achieve our vision ( To become the leader in customer acquisition for businesses on the Sunshine Coast).
My Leadership pertains to the individual reading the MTG Leadership Model. So, their Leadership drives our culture and strategy to achieve our vision.
The MTG Team own this model and are therefore equipped to live and breathe it.
This Leadership Model will be reviewed and evolved over time by the MTG Team.
